Why Am I So Toxic? I Don't Understand! Where Do They Come From?

84,000 Toxins and Counting

“Why am I so toxic?” “Where do all the toxins come from?” “I eat so healthy, what do you mean I have chemical and heavy metal poisoning?” “I just don’t UNDERSTAND!” I am asked these questions countless times a day.

In order for us to understand how we have become so toxic, we must understand how the body was designed to withstand toxins in the first place. Humans are equipped with a gland in the skull called the parotid gland. There are two, the size of a walnut, one on each side of the jaw bone. You will know what gland I’m talking about when I say the gland that hurts when you bite into a lemon or something very sour. It’s back there in your lower jaw, just in front of your ear. The parotid gland is in the body to protect us from toxins we ingest through the mouth or breathe in through the nose. The wonderful parotid gland secretes saliva and tags or labels what nutrients are coming in, what toxins to look out for, how much sugar and protein are entering, etc. These little tags essentially get the body into gear.

“Hey down below, we have X amount of proteins, Y amount of sugars, Z amount of fats and XY amount of heavy metal and chemicals. So Liver -- get into gear and get ready to handle the heavy metals, chemicals and sugars!!!”

Back in the 1800s a solution of mercury was applied to felt hats. Eventually the hatter would go crazy or mad from the mercury toxicity -- hence the term “Mad as a Hatter.” My point is that it took the hatter a really long time to become overloaded with enough mercury to go mad. Now we all know that mercury is extremely toxic to our neurological systems, so why did it take so many years for a hatter to go mad? Let’s think back to the 1800’s for a minute… How many man-made chemicals did people’s bodies have to contend with at that time? How many food additives? Food dyes? Food preservatives? Fertilizers? Weed killers? Pesticides? Petroleum products? Fire retardants? Plastics? Chemical Cleaners? Pharmaceuticals? Etc. Let me put it this way -- the chemicals and heavy metals back then were a far cry from what we have today. There was probably a handful or so of man-made chemicals for the body to process. As of today, there are over 84,000 chemicals on the books and counting! Let that sink in for a moment. That’s a lot of man-made unnatural toxic stuff for our poor little bodies to contend with. Back to the question: Why did it take so many years for a hatter to go mad? It was because he was not over burdened on a daily basis with the 84,000 toxins that we have today.

My thoughts are this. When man first inhabited Earth, there were virtually no toxins. Our bodies were made to contend with the little bit of earthly toxins that got thrown our way, not 84,000 man-made chemicals and counting! This explosion of toxic chemicals has taken place in just the last 150 years, and we as a human race have not evolved to handle this toxic burden. When we do, we will probably look like chipmunk people with huge parotid glands. The bigger the parotid gland the more attractive you are.

I am not writing this to scare you but to give you hope and empower you. We can get toxins out of the body! We just have to do it the right way. Whenever you are going to release toxins, you have to follow them all the way out of the body. What I have found in my practice is that people do fasts, thinking that they are doing a great thing for their body. I beg to disagree. If you have a buildup of toxins in your fat, all you are going to be doing is releasing the toxins out of the fat and into the system where they can do harm while they float around and find a new place to land. Chemicals are very caustic. It is better to let sleeping dogs lie than to stir up chemicals only to let them land in a new spot.

For just one moment I want you to think about all of the chemicals you personally know the smells of and who knows, maybe even the tastes. Let’s just think. Chlorine (you even take a shower in it), ammonia, acetone, butane, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, propane, all the sulfates in your beauty products, all of the prescription drugs, over the counter drugs, cleaning products, fertilizers, pesticides, perfumes, solvents -- the list can go on and on. These are all toxins to us and our planet. God gave us a set of parotid glands as our first line of defense; they are a little overwhelmed to say the least.

Symptoms for Chemical and Heavy Metals are in no way limited to:
Kidney and Urinary Tract Infections
Bad smelling urine
Depression
Anxiety
Moodiness
PMS
Inability to think clearly
Memory loss
Not feeling sharp
Feeling that you are the walking ill
Doctor says, “Nothing is wrong with you.” But you feel something is wrong.

Please, please, please -- if you are going to cleanse or fast, come to me for a chemical and heavy metals evaluation. The chemicals and heavy metals will take a certain route out of the body depending on what kind of beasties are inside of you. You must protect the route out, either the urinary tract or the digestive tract or both. With proper supplementation, we can protect the pathways out. This way you will have an incredibly successful cleanse or fast. A mix of proper nutrients and colonics is the best way to maintain overall health and your beautiful appearance.
