Please help keep Naturopathic Doctors in California!
There is a big concern for the future of Naturopathic doctors in the state of California due to proposed budget cuts. At the top of this article is a link to the California Association for Naturopathic Doctors’ website so you can let the Legislature know you are AGAINST the proposed cut to the licensure board for Naturopathic Doctors. The governor is proposing the cut to save the state some money. However the licensure board raises money from the doctors themselves and does not take any money from the state. If anything, the taxes that these doctors pay to practice in the state of California helps support our economy.
The most important reason to keep Naturopathic Doctors’ right to licensure in California is the help they give to the people of our state. They are healers who find the source of the disease in such cases as heart disease, diabetes, and obesity, and help heal the person without first going to medication. They have proven holistic modalities that help promote the health of the people of California and are a vital part of our future. It is imperative that we keep our licensing right here in California or else these wonderful healers will have to practice elsewhere. These are doctors trying to make a difference in the world of disease who attend accredited four year institutions in order to get licensure to practice medicine.
I encourage all of you, our Fountain of Health family, to go to the website for the Naturopathic association and find out more information about the benefits these doctors give our society and how to send a letter urging the state not to cut licensure. There is a link in the website to a letter already typed out for you, all you have to do is add your name. Please send it to your friends and family to do the same. The more Californians we have supporting these doctors, the more people we can help to get better from chronic diseases.

I plan to show my support of Naturopathic Doctors STAYING in CA. In my experience, they get a good result without causing further harm to the individual or their body. If the state is interested in cutting money from the budget by means of lessening Health Care - they should look at the Psychiatric "Care" System and cut most of that. Not only would it serve to help protect unsuspecting public subjected to the CRUEL and UNUSUAL "treatment" of Pychs, it would save the State HUGE amounts of money. Ex: a Yuba City Mental "Health" Clinic is closing - saving the state $14 MILLION per year. It services only 40 patients. Do the math... that works out to be $350,000.00 PER YEAR, PER PATIENT! How can we afford to pay so much money for no results... or worse - the death of these patients. Do what you can to keep a Good Alternative to physical Health (nd thereby, mental health) available in CA.
